At Little Me we are committed to providing the highest quality childcare and early years education.

 

Our highly experienced Practitioner Team, which includes Level 6 qualified Early Years Teachers, make the most use of our vast outdoor space, as well as our forest school location on site.  In combination, they provide learning opportunities that are hard to find elsewhere.

We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework, covering all seven areas of learning in a way that meets every child's individual need.

We are also passionate about building long term wellbeing skills for our pupils and are in the process of implementing Alba's unique Head Start Joy Programme.  This programme leverages the latest in neuroscience research to help children develop three fundamental areas of skills linked to long term wellbeing: mindfulness, re-framing skills and gratitude. Yoga, dancing, breathing exercises, mindfulness exercises and nature are part of our day to day experience with the children, helping them build an understanding of themselves and of the world around them.

 

We love open ended play, wooden toys, as well as recycling and repurposing of things, as it helps our pupils understand where things come from and where they go when they are no longer needed.
